Discretion is part of what we build

Many of the homes we build are private, high-value residences.

Their owners did not hire us so their homes, possessions, locations and lifestyles could become our advertising. We respect that.

For this reason, our public website is not a complete record of our work. We will never compromise an existing client's privacy simply to make our portfolio look larger.

The privacy we protect for our existing clients is the same privacy we will protect for you.

Photographs can be borrowed. Renderings can be mistaken for completed work. Reviews can be manufactured. We do not ask you to trust a gallery. We invite you to verify how we work.

Proof beyond the photograph

A beautiful photograph shows what a room looked like on one particular day.

It does not show what is behind the paint. It does not show the reinforcement, drainage, waterproofing, electrical work, plumbing, ventilation or thousands of decisions that determine whether a high-value property will perform properly in Costa Rica's demanding tropical environment.

We offer qualified clients something more meaningful:

Visit an active project, subject to the owner's permission

Meet the people who will actually build or manage your property

Inspect our structural and technical work before it is covered

Review private, anonymised project case studies

Examine our scheduling, reporting and quality-control systems

Speak with previous clients and professional partners who have agreed to provide references

See how we solve problems when real construction conditions differ from a drawing

What we stand behind

30 years of referrals are built on results you cannot photograph.

For over two decades, every project Jeffrey built came through word of mouth. One client told another. Architects referred clients. Property owners who trusted us with one project came back with the next. That is the record we are most proud of — and the one that matters most.

Here is what that record is built on.

What is behind the paint

Reinforcement, drainage, waterproofing, electrical, plumbing and ventilation — installed correctly, documented thoroughly, and inspectable before completion. This is what determines whether a property performs for decades or starts failing in the first rainy season.

A local full-time team

Unlike service providers who outsource work, we maintain a dedicated in-house team and fully equipped headquarters on the Nicoya Peninsula. This means faster response times, consistent quality, and a team that is accountable because they live and work here.

Advanced diagnostic equipment

Thermal cameras, drain cameras, moisture detection equipment. We find problems before they become expensive — and we have the construction knowledge to understand what we find and recommend the right solution.

Certified inspection background

Jeffrey Vogel holds a certified inspection background from Canada. Every inspection is conducted by someone who has spent 30 years building — so findings are understood in context, not just noted on a form.

North American build standards

Every project is held to the standards we brought from three decades of North American construction — not the minimum acceptable standard, but the standard serious property owners expect and rarely find in the local market.

Fast, reliable response

Absentee property owners cannot wait weeks for a response to a problem. Our local team is reachable, responsive and equipped to handle everything from emergency repairs to routine maintenance without involving the owner unnecessarily.

Private project review

After an introductory consultation, serious prospective clients may request a confidential project review.

Depending on the project and the permissions provided by existing owners, this can include private photographs, construction documentation, reference conversations and a guided job-site visit.

Discretion for the owner. Transparency for the buyer.

The process begins with a free introductory consultation — Zoom or in person. No pressure, no obligation. Just an honest conversation about your property, your requirements, and whether we are the right fit.

Request a private project review

What a private review can include

Subject to existing owner permissions

Private photographs of completed projects and construction documentation

Anonymised project case studies covering scope, challenges and outcomes

Guided job-site visits to active projects

Reference conversations with previous clients and professional partners

Review of our scheduling, reporting and quality-control systems

Examples of how we solve problems when conditions differ from a drawing

All private project reviews are conducted under a standard non-disclosure agreement. Your information and enquiry details are treated with the same discretion we extend to existing clients.

Start the conversation

The first step is a conversation, not a commitment.

Tell us about your property, your project, or your requirements. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit — and if not, we will say so directly.
